JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #2 – DC COMICS – (W)&(A) Bryan Hitch
Rao, Kryptonian sun God has arrived, enchanting everyone including Superman himself. I’m naturally suspicious, but there’s gotta be some shady deal to this guy, promising Clark, and earth, everything he failed to deliver to Krypton, no strings attached? Rubbish. He puts on a big show of healing ALL the sick, which is certainly one way to get people’s attention, but like me, Batman ain’t buying it. Strangely, we almost completely abandon the Infinity Corporation, at least for now, and that struck me as a bit odd after the set up we went through last issue. Green Lantern and Flash are still absent, and Wonder Woman only appears right at the end, kind of confirming my suspicions about Rao. Hitch’s art is still real pretty, and it’s helping me overlook some of the odd plot direction for now.
