AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #5 – MARVEL COMICS – (W) Dan Slott (A) Giuseppe Camuncoli

There is just SO MUCH Peter Parker in this book that there’s hardly any room left for Spider-Man, it feels like the hero is an afterthought to the Parker Industries brand that he’s building. There’s a couple of good twists in here, as Slott rounds out the first arc, and it was nice to see Spidey swinging again, not just relying on some SHIELD jet. Scorpio (I think) shows how ruthless he is as the ZODIAC stage a heist on the London Museum, and the fight sequence contained within was a lot of fun, but cut the boardroom antics, cut the press conferences, and give me Spider-Man please.
